I'm the true incidental tourist. Wed to a wife who had wanderlust from the time she was born. I became her ultimate traveling companion, driver and luggage carrier. Oh! and storyteller.

Hello, my name is Larry Anderson. I live in Southern California.

I was an aerospace engineer by trade, once a park ranger, and an avid automotive racing enthusiast. Go figure! Yes, I failed to mention author, but in the beginning it was just rockets, trees and cars. Travel never occurred to me until I met the woman of my life. We met in 1970 and wed the following year. I had never met someone who had as much adventure in their heart as my wife, Vilma. She had studied in Spain as a student which, as it turned out, fanned the wanderlust spirit in her soul. From the beginning of our relationship it became apparent we were destined to travel. A plethora of travel books, magazine articles and television travel shows only stoked her desire more. Vilma was always planning adventures replete with sights and sounds of unique and faraway places. Forever planning, she would set an ambitious itinerary, intermingled with my requests...if I was going to be in this country, what would I like to do? 

My only wish was to see some of the sights I had dreamt about in my adulthood. This included witnessing the 24 Hours of Le Mans, sailing in Greece, and wine tasting in some of the most heralded vineyards of France, Italy and Spain. Well, I got all this and more. Much more.

As the story unfolds, Precious opens her own personal Pandora's Box and out springs a travel adventure for the ages!
